Decay of internal calcium concentration due to calcium currents and pump, written by a destexhe, nov 1992. Paper cites mainen & sejnowski (1996), model no. 2488, and schaefer et al (2003), model no. 83344, for kinetics, so both are cited as ancestor models. This model has several modifications compared to the ancestors, it is unclear if kinetics have been changed. Animal model is from experiments, which were only done on interneurons. Model comes from previous studies on cortical pyramidal neurons.
