Taken from mainen & sejnowski (1996), model no. 2488, with a few changes to the mod file, kinetics appear to be the same. Modeling study based on a previous model of layer 5 pyramidal neuron from various animal models (mainen & sejnowski 1996). Morphology is from cat visual cortex, so that is listed as the animal model here.
