Internal calcium concentration due to calcium currents and pump. Contains two mechanisms: (1) simple model of atpase pump with 3 kinetic constants and (2) simplified first-order decay or buffering. By a destexhe 1992. Adapted from destexhe et al. (1996), model no. 17663, with various changes. This is from a tutorial, not much is explained about the model. The animal model here is from huguenard and mccormick (1992), and most kinetics are from there as well.
