Kir potassium current for nucleus accumbens, (irk1, kir2.1), citations: mermelstein et al. (1998), uchimura et al. (1989), kubo & murata (2001), and hayashi & fishman (1988). Written by j moyer 2004. Not mentioned in paper, but appears to come from wolf et al. (2005), model no. 112834, with no changes. These papers feature experimental electrophysiology and imaging, as well as construction of a morphology of a l2/3 pyramidal neuron for modeling. The animal model info here is from the experimental methods, although the experiments may also have been performed in other layers as well. NOTE, this model requires external function tables, which are not present since this model was not used in the simulation. This model has not been included in the analysis.
